High Quality Preserved Kiwi Fruit

Preserved kiwi fruit is a delicious and convenient way to enjoy the sweet and tangy flavor of kiwi all year round. To make preserved kiwi fruit, you can either can them in syrup or freeze them.

To can kiwi fruit, start by peeling and slicing the kiwi into desired shapes. Then, make a syrup by combining water and sugar in a saucepan and bringing it to a boil. Add the kiwi slices to the syrup and cook for a few minutes until they are slightly softened. Transfer the kiwi slices and syrup into sterilized jars and seal them tightly. Process the jars in a water bath canner for the recommended time.

To freeze kiwi fruit, peel and slice the kiwi and arrange the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place the baking sheet in the freezer until the kiwi slices are frozen solid. Transfer the frozen kiwi slices into airtight containers or freezer bags and store them in the freezer until ready to use.

Preserved kiwi fruit can be enjoyed on its own as a snack, added to fruit salads, used as a topping for yogurt or ice cream, or incorporated into baked goods like muffins or tarts.
